I was diagnosed with Stage 2 (Grade 3) Invasive Duct Breast Cancer on Thursday 26th February 2025.
I am SO blessed to have beautiful family, friends, acquaintances, online buddies, social media followers etc — but I was never good at replying to people PRE-cancer. Now that so many of you want to reach out and ask how I'm doing, I can tell you now it's a one way ticket to overwhelm and people being ignored — and I hate that sooo much for all of you. (and for me, the notification anxiety is REAL, lol)
So rather than send a bunch of individual messages, I thought: why not write it all down here? That way you can check in whenever you like, read what's on my mind, and know exactly how I'm doing.
I'll try to post updates as regularly as I can. I aim to fight this battle with a line somewhere between unhinged positivity and sarcasm — hopefully that serves me well 😉
